TMC Hospital Hill is one of the busiest adult emergency room in the Kansas City metropolitan area with more than 60,000 visits a year.
It is located in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri across from Children’s Mercy Hospital. It is directly connected with UMKC school of medicine and provides training base for its six-year and four-year medical programs. Students from UMKC school of medicine rotate a total of six months in TMC for their internal medicine rotation, and begins their responsibility in out-patient clinics starting the third year of their training, which is continued to graduation under the supervision of an attending physician.
